Active Client For Mac
I'm surprised I'm not hearing more about this. There is a HUGE memory leak in the Mac client that pretty much makes PvP unplayable for more than one keep capture at a time. Basically in the Mac client, something is not clearing properly in the Virtual Memory allocation so the game crashes every time it hits the 4gb limit set for 32-bit applications. This means it's not a matter of IF the game is going to crash, but WHEN it is going to crash. If you're just solo questing, that can be like 3-4+ hours, but in large AvA battles, this amounts to about 30 minutes. Can we please bring this to attention and get this fixed? It is extremely frustrating to have to manually shut down my game client before it reaches the 4gb VM limit in the middle of battle just to avoid getting booted. As far as I know, this is a global problem. Can other Mac users chime in?
For some reason, as soon as i click play on the ESO launcher it crashes. I really don't want to waste $60. Here is the crash report. ===== eso has stopped working. It helps if you run Activity Monitor, highlight ESO and click the 'i' button to view your Virtual Memory and confirm that it is constantly rising and crashing whenever you get around 3.7-3.9ish GB for VM & around 2.8 for Real Memory.
